RCT3 Fantasmic! The Ride

You have to see this to beleive it. This fellow took the Fantasmic soundtrack and made an RCT 3 ride out of the show. Using many things that I wasn't even aware that RCT3 could do, along with film overlays from mist screens and other parts of the show, he has created a 24 minute ride that goes forward, stops, goes forward again slow and fast then stops, goes backward (like the mummy ride at Univeral) to a new track to get back to the house for the big finale. Then all the way back out to the exit music. BE WARNED. This is a huge file. It took me 17 minutes to download it and then after watching it another 17 minutes to download it again saving it to my hard drive this time. You really have to have a fast transfer rate hard drive and a good graphic card. Also must have the latest edition (10) of Windows Media Player 10. This is a must see and it will knock your socks off. What he has done is impossible. But he did ti.

That is pretty darn amazing, Lost Boy. I was not aware that the game had these capabilities. I can only wonder how much work went into putting something like this together.

This is a direct link to his backstage tour of how he made the ride. It't got text, pictures and video clips. It shows just what he did to make this ride, which is spread out over 10 sandbox parks and then put together with Movie Maker.

Some of his other rides are pretty cool too, especially his "Pirates of the Mediteranean". This guy does some really amazing work.

And for those of you who aren't into Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, you should still check out the Fantasmic ride movie. It is really amazing what he did.
