Hollywood Forever Cemetery
6000 Santa Monica Boulevard at Gower

As a courtesy to other movie-goers: NO TALL CHAIRS!!

One of the all time greats, Butch and Sundance is the embodiment of the carefree and innocent spirit of the summer-of-love era. Although it is a Western, the beautiful, soft-focus photography of master D.P. Conrad Hall and the infectious camaraderie of Redford and Newman capture the zeitgeist of the times better than most films of the era. Best friend bank robbers Butch and Sundance are just about the nicest guys in the west, but when a mysterious posse begins to ruthlessly hunt them, they flee and start again in foreign lands. Catherine Ross is unbelievably gorgeous as Edna the schoolteacher who accompanies them on their flight, and Burt Bacharach’s 60s Pop score is now legendary.
Bring blankets, picnic dinner and drinks for this special screening below (and above) the stars.

DJs john Wyatt and Chris Cutis spin before and after the screening
