Pat Tillman Cover Up Article

This article came out yesterday in the SF Chronicle. I feel it is an important story that the mainstream media isn't addressing as loudly as they should be.

A Chronicle review of more than 2,000 pages of testimony, as well as interviews with Pat Tillman’s family members and soldiers who served with him, found contradictions, inaccuracies and what appears to be the military’s attempt at self-protection.

For example, the documents contain testimony of the first investigating officer alleging that Army officials allowed witnesses to change key details in their sworn statements so his finding that certain soldiers committed “gross negligence” could be softened.

Interviews also show a side of Pat Tillman not widely known — a fiercely independent thinker who enlisted, fought and died in service to his country yet was critical of President Bush and opposed the war in Iraq, where he served a tour of duty.

Makes it even more ironic to think of the libs (NO one here- but on many other sites) who danced and spat on his grave- gosh, he may have even agreed with them on the war.

She musta been thinking of that midwestern baptist church. It's in Kansas right, or was it somewhere else...... Would look, but don't want to waste my energy and time on such stupidity........Or would they be considered conservative......god I am soo confused.

He Is Buried very near here. Bay Area. I haven't seen a single person dance on his grave, or heard any story of that. Do you have a link?

Now I want to make perfectly clear before someone decides to defend people about this- I am by NO means saying it was a majority opinion. But the attitude is out there- and if you read enough of DU you will find a great deal of troop hating in the vein of calling them baby killers and criminals-
