Eisner resigns from board of driectors

I just read that in my paper. Was this expected or not?

He had said that if the board did not ask him to stay, he would move on. (Many thought it was a hint to the board that he would like to stay). They must not have asked.

He may have another gig in the works, or the WDC may have something going that precludes his presence, such as a new Pixar deal. One can hope.

i understand he will be replacing Charlie Rose as a Talk Show Host on PBS.

i bet that sucks.

Heard on the radio today that he's severed all ties with Disney and isn't working for them at all.
