Deleting a .net passport and messenger name

Anyone know how? We looked high and low and can only find ways of removing messenger from the computer, or removing the email address. But we can't find a way to shut it down completely.

Either contact MSN, or just leave it inactive for a while.

are you trying to delete the account, or are you trying to get it to not do the imaginary sign in that you cant see when you log into windows? (Can you tell that happened to me?)

If its just plain delete, yeah, GD's plan will work.
