The Happy Haunts are now 30 days away from having a new haunt!

After an offer, a counter, and another counter, our real estate agent (a lovely and talented agent that you may know by a name that rhymes with "Morigoon") will be receving a signed acceptance any minute now.

It's a lovely condo in move-in condition (it's actually beautifully painted and finished as-is, there's very little we want to alter) in Orange. Easy access to Main Place Mall, the Block, Old Town Orange, Anaheim Stadium, and, of course, Disneyland (assuming we renew our AP's...).

The price is, of course, obscene for a 1200 square foot condo. But when you account for the condition it's in, and the price at which comparable places in the same complex and neighboorhood have one for, we got ourselves a very good deal.

We're, as you might imagine, insanely excited.

Oh hey, there are photos (http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/Albu...&a=32276221&f=) Note the tile on the patio, it's fabulous. And we love the livingroomg, which goes w/out saying. We'll likey repaint the kitchen cabinets and the upstaird bathroom (whcih is a horrid shade of purple). The photo of the bedroom makes it look awful pink, but I don't recall it being that color so it's either a bad or old photo. If we're ambitious, we'll replace the kitchen counters. But that's pretty much all we have to do.

It's got a garage and carport right off the back patio. It includes the washer and dryer. They said they'd include the fridge, but we wrote into our offer to exclude it, 'cause ours is better

Ummm, what else can I ramble about? Hmm, I'll put another good word in for Morigoon. We've been her first buyers, and she's done right by us. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Okay, off to decide how to celebrate.

That means we just agreed to a loan an obscene amount of money and we're going to have to evaluate our budget to see if it still makes sense for us to be renewing, especially considering how much we've been spending on food and snacks at the parks. At the very least, a bit of a lapse will do us good.

However it is a swanky pad. Congrats. I'm sure Munchkin will have fun marking his new territory.

Oh and if you get offered a new home warranty, skip it, those things never work out...
