The playing cards ones freak me out.

I'm wondering, though, if some of the more, um, wirey pieces work in 3 dimensional space, or if they are photographed from the only angle that works?

There's an artist I've seen at local things that does someting similar. While there are angles that work best they work pretty well in real space (where flattening to 2D in a photograph would be very problematic from the wrong angle).
