Email snafu or a filtering no-no?

I got an email today with a link to a story on MSNBC's To Catch a Predator show. In response, and clearly without thinking, I went on and on about the topic, and mentioned that sexual predators were everywhere. I even went to the registry to see how many, who, what was in my area and made an off-color remark about bringing my sisters over.

Now, I know that some companies have email filters that catch certain terms. In one email with a friend quite some time ago, I'd mentioned "cocaine" and he didn't get the emails. The terms that were questionable in these emails were "sexual" and "rapist." I feel bad that I responded with it, in retrospect, because he's also works with the military and it was his work address. I know he wouldn't have a problem with it, but I hope it doesn't cause him trouble down the line.

He's probably busy, as he is later in the work day, but I'm curious (and unable to ask him): What kinds of words get picked up by these searches? Would an email from me cause him great trouble? He is fairly restricted with which websites are accessible on base, so I figure they are filtering things somehow...

I know someone here must have some sort of experience with this...
