Bastille Day

Perhaps I'm just jonesing for Paris, but tomorrow (Saturday 7/14) is Bastille Day and I feel like I want to celebrate it in some fashion.

But it's on the DAY AFER - wtf? the occasion is on a Saturday seems like that's when it ought to be celebrated?

Anyway - I'll watch the tour, maybe open some Champagne - go out for crepes - but I'm in the mood for something French, any suggestions?

Yeah, wtf is that?? I was all set to go. It's french, it's nearby where I live. But, the day after?!? Feh.

I live closer to the airport. Where's my passport???

Now that the big Holidays (4th of July & Halloween) are stuck in midweek zone - I feel we need to appropriate some other weekend occuring holidays to make up for the loss

(But, in that case, far from the airport. That movie on Bastille Day would put me over the edge.)
