Stereo Total
I've been listening to this duo for a couple years now and am glad to have finally see them live. They played a bunch of my favorites.
![]() highlights for me were bringing a audience member to join in on j'aime l'amour a trois, Banter going back and forth about doing something Romantic, or punk rock. closing the first set with a tribute to Frank Sinatra, Nina Hagen, and Sid Vicious (My Way). ![]() I loved the minimalist messy noise these two produced - and I could easily see them having just as much fun busking on the Ku'dam in Berlin - makes me want to go back. ![]() Sadly, we only caught the last two songs from Octopus Project, but what I heard was also delightful

It was awesome. Didn't know anything about them but am always up for trying new things.
It was a hell of a good time. Not sure I can say the same for the act before Stereo Total. A one man band with a guy who kind of though he was a combination between Anthony Kiedis and Beck but rather sounded like I think I did in HS. Oh, and he had a sweet laptop (AKA the band). |
