Coach accused of licking player’s cut

Nevermind the absolutely bizarre story behind this headline...but that's just a really bad typo waiting to happen!

Bad typo indeed!

I misread the article title myself at first and had to look twice!

My favorite excerpts from the article (because you just don't hear these sentences everyday):

"..and the licked athlete was not offended, the police report said."

“We do know that animals lick their own wounds,” she said. “And it may be that saliva has some healing properties. But my very strong recommendation is that you confine yourself to licking your own wounds.”

Um, ewww.....(on both the typo level and the actual story level.)

I tell my kids who inevitably cut themselves when we're building houses to suck on the cut because saliva is good for it....but um, they better lick their own damn wounds!
