TiVO Help
I'm pretty sure my TiVO is broken - but since I have a lifetime subscription on it (and don't really want to go out and buy a new one), I want to make sure.
I have a Humax Series 2. I think the coax plug for the "in" signal is dead. The cable is turned on. So is the TV ![]() When I switch my TV to watch TiVO I see "searching for signal on: Basic Cable In". First I thought my digital cable went out because my screen and audio had no reception at all. I removed that component from the mix and receive the message. I've switched the actual coax cable, and splitter - same message. I've checked all the connections - everything is tight and I receive a cable signal from the wall. Is there anything else to check? Thanks! |

Never mind! I fixed it. I unplugged it for about 10 minutes and did the master set up walk through. It works through the regular cable. I turned off digital cable.

No idea. But I turned it off from Cox. Only had it for Versus.

I had that happen with mine, because it 'reset' to channel 1, which has no signal. As soon as I changed the channel, it came in fine.
