RStar's European Vacation

Okay, looks like the trip to Hawaii has been changed to Europe!

My family background is strongly English, and I've always wanted to go. We are considering England and France. This is our first over seas trip, and I was considering Disney Destinations. Anyone else ever use them? Do they do a good job?

Is the tour thingy a good idea for beginners (we do want to see touristy stuff)? Can we save a bundle of dough doing it all ourselves? We will want to stay in nice hotels rather than money saving hostels or what ever.

And of course we can't go to Paris with out seeing Disneyland Paris!! This will be my first Disney park other than Anahiem!

Thanks for any tips to this traveling virgin!
