| Kink of Swank | Well, I need to see Blue Velvet again. As a fabric, though, I love touching it ... but don't want to own anything made from it. |

| Nevermind | I think Elvis sort of ruined the velvet industry. |

				            | The tactile feeling of velvet kind of oogs me out. So not for me. |

				            | mostly I gauge is by what it's been/being used for. I like it/have used it as a liner for custom storage boxes. gives a nice classy texture. hate it for interiors on cars regardless of color....(the exception being the back of a hearse) IMO, it is NEVER TO BE USED AS CANVAS, regardless of the subject Ive seen some incredible gowns and other costume pieces created from it. for a certain effects, its hard to beat. its also easy to go overboard with it.

				            | My thoughts are the same as CJ's. But I do like the tactile experience of velvet (in limited amounts).

				            | When I see the word "velvet" I think: Elvis Matador paintings on and Underground. |
