Mall hours

Does anyone know why malls close so early on weekends? 6:00pm on a Sunday seems like a strange time to close up shop for the day.

Because all the teenagers who work at the malls need to go out and have fun too.

I remember back in early high school - Mom would drop me and the friends off at noon and pick us up at 5pm. THat was opening to closing. What in the heck did we do with all that time and very little money? (check out cute boys of course).

I'm not complaining. At least I can shop on Sundays again!

Oh and the Block and the Spectrum are open later. Maybe it's just the indoor malls that close early still.

Places with movie theaters will occasionally be open a bit later.
