In addition some networks, like HGTV and The Food Network, obscure or shoot around logos because they don't want to be seen as endorsing particular products in their cooking/home decorating shows. I worked on an HGTV show on crafters in which the crews had to stop the crafters from saying some common product names (like styrofoam) because they were not generic.
