Yikes! I hope Moon's not regretting this: National Mall evacuated due to severe weather.

Nope. Not a problem at all. We waited until after the rain passed through (about 6:30pm) to head down and then went right in. We were actually not on the mall proper. We went to a location by the Iwo Jima memorial. Nice view and a bit less crowded.
