Note to self: When applying sunscreen before sitting in direct sunlight for three hours during a baseball game, do not somehow completely forget to do your arms.

Spent most of today in luge-mode, then got busy this evening and did laundry, cleaned cat litterboxes, made bbq ribs and stuff for dinner (not necessarily in that order) and am now sorting through stuff in the Girl's second bedroom, trying to make a path to the closet.

Earlier tonight, Trudy asked Tori if she knew why we were celebrating today, and I burst out laughing. At the time she asked, we were all sprawled over the furniture watching 'Matilda' and hardly exhibiting signs of life. (Tori answered correctly, btw). I couldn't help but laugh, because if this is what celebrating is passing for nowadays, God help me. We can't even light fireworks anymore- this has become just another boring holiday.

Try to find a store that sells Neutrogena After Sun. It's hard to find (my Target and local supermarkets don't carry it) but it's a miracle product and really helps prevent peeling as well as soothing the burn. It also smells nice, which is a bonus, and isn't sticky like aloe gel.

Actually doing anything to ameliorate discomfort would be very unme. But thanks for the recommendation should it become unbearable.
