But they aren't going to show you that, it makes for bad TV, and the target doesn't allow TLC to use their likeness. Supposedly, the drop-outs are when they pick up more local NY/NJ targets.

Of course, if the person does tell them to sod off that episode never gets made and therefore is never seen.
You guys have it covered.

WNTW is the only one of these shows that I'll watch. Sometimes they get a bit mean, and sometimes I'm not sure I dig what they're pushing, but most of the time I think they do a good job. Yeah, Stacy is a bitch, and sometimes it's a bit too much.

I watched that 10 Years Younger show a couple of times and that makes being on WNTW look like a cakewalk. Not only do they do that horrid glass booth where random strangers tell you you look old, but they do all the surgery stuff...I'm still not a fan of the concept that you are not a good looking person for your age unless you get work done. Blech.

There was one WNTW ep where they told a flat chested woman that she absolutely had to wear gel-filled bras in order to look good. I'm all for the idea of informing her about how padded/push up/gel bras help (I wear a padded bra, like most small chested women, much of the time) but the way they put it, she wouldn't look good at all without it. Sigh. The message ends up being, "your body is not good enough."

For real? They should have given her options, not an ultimatum.

But according to the fashion industry, *no* woman is good enough as is. If we look good to start with, we won't buy their cr**.

Instead, they try to remake us all into the same woman. How boring.
