Paris Hilton campaigns to save drunken elephants

I can only find this in one place so far, so I am not sure if it is correct, but:

(11-13) 15:44 PST GAUHATI, India (AP)—In a Nov. 13 story, The Associated Press incorrectly reported that Paris Hilton was praised by conservationists for highlighting the problem of binge-drinking elephants in northeastern India. Lori Berk, a publicist for Hilton, said she never made any comments about helping drunken elephants in India.

ETA: It is showing up in more places now.

Thank God! I was worried about those elephants- I had a sneaking suspicion that she was only after them for apparel purposes. I mean, how hard would it be to turn a pasted elephant into a matching bag and shoes?
