When I saw the headline I was momentarily sad because I thought of Steven Wright.

Then I realized that it was Steven not Richard and that I had no idea who Richard Wright is. So then I was no longer sad.

Then I found out who Richard Wright is so now I know who he was but am still not sad because other than the songs on Guitar Hero I don't really know anything about Pink Floyd except that maybe that guy in the annoying Geico commercial was from Pink Floyd (but maybe The Who or something else, Lani usually has to tell me these music things several times before I remember).

So that recaps the emotional roller coaster I've been on since learning this news.

Unless there is another Geico commercial I am unaware of, you are thinking of Peter Frampton, who was not in The Who or Pink Floyd. He was in Humble Pie, but was best known for his solo work in the 70's - particularly Frampton Comes Alive!

I am not sure how this affects your mood, but I wanted to clarify.

I thought of Richard Wright. But he's much deader.
