Then why not just have a blog? I'm not entirely sure why she would launch something until she actually had something to say. Every section says the same thing, with most if not all of the content repeated. I produce websites for a living, so I'm picky.
I love Neil Gaiman's website and journal. I love visiting James Gunn's MySpace page. I get the need for a personal website if you are an individual or company offering services, or an artist showcasing her work. If Paltrow's hippie Martha Stewarty "My Life as Art" site actually had content, I might feel differently. But it's a poorly planned teaser site. She could have said everything she needed to say in one paragraph as an introduction to a full website to come. Instead, what you get is a site full of nothing substantial but stinks of"self-righteous-help" guide. Bah. It's funny. |
