Oh, this makes me very sad. My parents visited Peru in the fifties. My mom loved Yma Sumac. I remember one particular album she played over and over when I was little. I hate to tell Mom about this, but she will want to know.

Quite an amazing voice. I am so glad to hear that Yma was sweet when you met her, SF.
