ditto for down here in SD. mostly we see pairs fly by and yeah. you hear them long before you ever see them. usually theyre noisy enough to where you expect a dozen or more to fly by. then, the pair go by and its amazing the ruckus they make.

I haven't watched the documentary, but I have seen (and heard) the parrots in San Francisco. I've heard some in Orange County when I was visiting and they were loud, but I liked it. Sounded like the Tiki Room, minus the singing and wisecracks.
