He's a former wanna be movie producer (produced the Underground Comedy Movie) who joined Scientology, seemingly for the Hollywood connections. As people mock him for his ridiculous salesman persona, I've seen people telling the above sob story an claiming he deserves sympathy for it. You know what? I have very little. When he joined the Scientologists, it was common knowledge what they are. He tried to work the system, he got caught. Got what he deserved. I have no problem continuing to mock his ridiculous new job that he's "forced" to do because of the situation he got himself into.

Billy Mayes (Hi, I'm Billy Mayes - buy some Oxy Clean. ) was on the radio the other day and when asked about the Shamwow guy, he had nothing good to say about him. Basically calling him out on many levels - professionally and personally.
