Good question, I seem to recall that not long after the iPod was introduced there were lawsuits or threats of lawsuits over people selling iPods with otherwise legally purchased libraries already on them. But I can't remember what became of it.

There are some nice wineries near Walla Walla (and Tri-Cities, and Yakima). And 15 years ago they didn't charge for tastings!

Got in a nice leisurely hike (and made the last ferry back with a whole 20 minutes to spare) at Angel Island yesterday.

Angel Island is out in San Francisco Bay. The far left of the picture is Richmond, CA, and then going right you have Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, the Bay Bridge, San Francisco (with Alcatraz being the island in the foreground) from downtown on the left out to the Presidio on the right, then the Golden Gate Bridge and finally the Marin headlands.
