But I suppose just because he was a democrat doesn't mean he was a leftist....just like someone who was disturbed about Obama becoming President doesn't mean he voted for McCain or is even a right winger.

I could come up with probably hundreds just as anyone could about the right. Or any group.

Leo, neither of these are comparable. Show me someone on the left who has gone on a shooting spree in response to a general political climate that they do not agree with. Show me someone who went on a shooting spree over something they feared Bush was doing (whether or not their fear had any basis in fact).

I disagree that he went on a rampage due to the current political climate. That seems like but one cog in the wheel of his disturbed being. I think there are those who want it to be because of right wing paranoia to suit political purposes.
