Awake now (have been for an hour or so.)
Phone has been backed up and the new software installed, but no wireless yet. Still won't view any. At least if I have to get a replacement I've got a recent backup. Taking it to the Optus (my carrier) Shop now. I pay the premium business insurance on it, so they should replace it.
