What's with the euphamisms? Are OB's afraid of vaginas? Yesterday while waiting for the Dr. CP noticed that on a poster detailing the female reproductive anatomy, a post-it was securely taped (yes, I chekced how securely) over the image in the corner titled "external reproductive organ". What's with this pathological need of OBs to avoid discussion of vaginas? Seems rather counter to their chosen specialty.

I'm pretty sure that regardless of the child's gender, a vagina will still be involved. Or at least they'll plan for that up until the last moment.

But I'm not in the gene pool so I may have the details wrong.
