I read that the whole Potomac thing was a misunderstanding and CNN ran with something completely inaccurate. No shots fired. It was someone saying "bang, bang".

The Coast Guard called "shots fired" on police radio frequencies. Park Police then reported "shots fired", CNN called Coast Guard and got no comment so they ran with the info they had from the police.

ATLANTA -- Five actresses and a cameraman from the CW show “The Vampire Diaries” were arrested and charged after police said the actresses were dangling off a Georgia overpass and flashing drivers.

Now for the WTF part of this:

Several drivers called 911 on Aug. 22 to report seeing the young women flashing drivers on I-75

I mean seriously. WTF!
