I hope all went well this morning! Eat lots of ice cream! I guess we won't be HEARING from you for a while......

Today at work I got a call on my cell that I didn't recognise. A guy came on and asked me if I worked in bathroom number 2. WTF? Do people really call people who work in numbered bathrooms??? I told him I think he had the wrong number, and he said sorry and goodby, so I don't think it was a crank call.....

Hope you have a quick recovery blueerica!

Rstar - maybe they were calling a building plumber asking about a job they recently did?

So - today I should be getting the car back. Last week the other car was in for repairs to the tune of $1300 (they did some maintanance and fixed a spark plug issue) and then just days later the Cherokee overheats. After they put in a new thermostat we discover coolent all over the passenger floor board. yay new heater core.

So - another $1000 roughly with that because they have to go in through the dash or some such nonsense.

Tax refund went to the vehicles this year. Guess I should be happy that it worked out that way instead of not having the money.

Will be nice to have the car back through and be mobile again. You never want to leave the house so much as when you can't.

Surgery went well from what I can tell... just residual nastiness from it all. From all the pictorial logs I've seen on adult recovery from tonsillectomy, I seem to be moving pretty quickly into scabbing. I'll take that as a good sign. I have the time to take off, but I put myself on the schedule for a Tuesday return. I guess I'll just have to see.

Betty, good point. Perhaps it was some sort of a plumbing department for a large building. But he did ask if I work in, not did I work on the bathroom. My first thought was actually a batroom attendant in a hotel.

Blureerica, I'm also glad it went well. I'm also glad I had them out when I was four so now I don't have to worry about that one!
