Hahaha, it turns out that the gorgeous girl who did the Big Thunder routine actually originated it at Burlesqueland. (I figured that out thanks to your list.)

I vaccuumed them up and then went on a hunt and found some more under the table. Nothing like the 100-200 around the front door though. I've read that they don't transmit disease and they don't crawl in your ear and lay eggs (as my husband was sure they did!) but that doesn't help.

The birds, which seem to love to eat them, aren't out at night when they are. I'm afraid to spray chemicals with 2 chihuahua's and a kitty.

I think I'll walk around with some caulk and see if I can't seal up any cracks they may be hiding in. But yes. ew ew ew.

Get some Diamatecous Earth. That will kill them and it isn't toxic to humans and pets - just exoskeletons!
