Generally, I want stuff in my ice cream, not on it. It may be boring, but nothing beats a really good vanilla ice cream all by itself.
Plus, seeing as I have the opportunity to eat at a Ghirardelli ice cream shop a dozen times a year up here without going out of my way, and don't because they're not even in the top dozen ice cream shops in the Bay Area, I'm not too excited by Ghirardelli in Disneyland. Though I will be excited at the thought of companions deciding they want ice cream and not ending up in a 36 hour line at Gibson Girl or the Cone Shop.
