Whatever happens from here on out, I'll long remember how much fun it's been to watch Luis Cruz this season. Shame he isn't in the running for rookie of the year.

Athletics playoff tickets officially went on sale this morning so Lani and I officially jinxed them by buying some.

And now I am in the odd position of hoping that the Athletics don't overtake the Rangers as then there'd be no guarantee that we'd get to go to a game.

I assume the better record of the two Wild Cards gets to host the game? If so and things stand that should be pretty exciting. One game playoffs are simultaneously a travesty and so exciting.
