Before the game I told Lani the A's would have to get Verlander up to about 130 pitches to knock him out of the game just on pitch count. Unfortunately he only needed 122 to shut them out.

No kidding! I'll appreciate the end of the impact on my commute, but that was just plain embarrassing.
