Yeah, probably only because Israel has decided to pull out of a tentative agreement with him to build a Christian heritage center in Galilee. They said they'd happily work with any other Christian organization that did not associate with Robertson. [oh, I see the article mentions this].

Hooray for the appology, but I certainly hope that Israel sticks to its guns and shuts Robertson out from the project. Israel needs money, but not from someone as irresponsible as Robertson. A simple appology, when he's shown time and again his true colors, don't mean squat.

I tend to agree if for no more than to show him (Robertson) that his words have consequences and that he cant just spout any BS rhetoric he feels like from one side of his mouth and expect everyone to just shrug it off for an apology out the other. Personally, I dont think his apology holds any merrit or weight at all other than trying to save his (congregation?) from losing out in another money making venture.
