I always seem to end up in a speed trap between here and Pismo, on the 166 coming down Goshen Grade. I have always managed to luck out by having an idiot pass me, going even faster than I was. More than once I have had the CHP wave a finger at me while he goes after the other car.

I had that happen to me on the Grapevine. A CHP car pulled in behind me and turned on the lights. Some idiot chose that moment to pass both the chippy and me in the right-hand lane. The chippy changed lanes, and went after him instead.
