OMG - the last time I saw this was when it was broadcast!
It changed my life - and how I viewed William Shatner. I am pleased that this exists in the ether. But I probably won't watch it again for another 25 years at least ![]()

Funny how times have changed. I used to think that was absurdly stupid, and funny as such.
Now I find the interpretation awe-inspiring and completely appropos to the material and the artist. It's still funny as all hell, but also quite brilliant in a weird, weird way. (Are there videos for Mr. Tambourine Man or Lucy in the Sky? I think I've heard Rocket Man a few times over the years, but I haven't seen it in decades. Heheheh, the visual makes all the difference!) |

Absolutely. I was watching that show on tv when IT happened. I don't think I recovered for days.
I can't wait to share this with Isaac; so nice to be able to pass the beauty down to the next generation (no star trek pun intended); thanks, Erica! |

I first saw that in 1991, while working at Sunset Gower - some older coworkers told me about this horrifying version of Rocket Man that I just had to see...
I've got the tape they gave me somewhere around here, but it was just lifechanging. |
