I went on Saturday (Bill insisted – said that I needed to do something fun (or he just wanted me out of his hair). It was nice, but I’ve been to better WorldCons. I’m a jaded old fan, I guess. I did manage to see some old friends, and that was nice. I also spent more money than I should have in the Dealer’s Room.

Oh… I almost forgot… An old friend of mine threw a GLBT fan party in his room Saturday night. The room had a perfect view of the Disneyland fireworks! We turned off the lights and ooo’d and ahhh’d. Someone in the back was giving a running commentary on what part of the show we were seeing… “Now, this is Haunted Mansion”….

I think I remember seeing a sign for that party, but we never managed to make it there. Saturday was a *very* late night for us.
