I covet innocence
faint soft loose
a dim corner I can slump into
excuse me

light stings
motion - sick
voice creaks with morning
disuse

leave me be

just dump it in the corner

nobody cares what you do

who abused himself and others until
no one could possibly care

the darkness lures me back
plush and pillowed
wedged in
satin
