I get that that's what he was going for, but he'd have done better with multicolored shoes eg: black with brown accent, or something*.

Might I add that I fit your side note to a T except that my clodhoppers are brown leather, not suede.
And I dont beleive my multi colored ribbon shoes go with as much as I think.
