Of course you can get french fries at the fair. But to compensate for their relative boringness, they come in 5 lb quantities at minimum.

Obama want to address school kids at school via tv or dvd. Some parents are outraged and this attempt at indoctination.

They'll keep their kids out of school.

The address is says it will be about education and encouraging students to achieve their short and long term education goals.

Okay - here's a story that you just can't make up.

Fire chief is shot in back, by cop, in court, over traffic ticket!

It would seem there's a bit of corruption going on:

the hearing apparently escalated to a scuffle, ending when an officer shot Payne from behind.

Prosecutor Lindsey Fairley said Thursday that he didn't plan to file any felony charges against the officer or Payne.

Fairley, reached at his home, said Payne could face a misdemeanor charge stemming from the scuffle

He said he didn't remember the name of the officer who fired the shot.

The judge retired. City hall is locked up. The mayor has an unmarked police car in her driveway. Police car and fire truck were repossessed. WTF is going on in that town!?
