Yeah, those Dove commercials sucked.

Oh, and I realized that the only majorly nommed film I haven't yet seen, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, was shut out - despite many nominations. I'm still gonna see it. Word is it's great.

Ok, the reviewer in Variety who was at the Kodak said "That's How You Know" played wonderfully live. My sister, who attended the rehearsal, said it was terrific live, but - looking at the overhead screens - predicted it would be awful on TV. She was right. But I'm willing to give the bloated production number the benefit of the doubt, since it just may have somehow been fantastic in person.

I blame it on the cinammontography.
